Florida Regulatory Approach
The following exchange specifies safety concerns with COVID mRNA vaccines expressed by the Surgeon General of the State of Florida in the United States to the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA).
The concerns include evidence of harm from the COVID mRNA vaccines based on 1. surveillance data from the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) and 2. high rates of adverse events taken from the original clinical trial data submitted by Pfizer and Moderna.
The full response of the US FDA is included for comparison purposes, as well as the preprint from which evidence of DNA contamination was derived.

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, December 6, 2023, second letter to the US Food and Drug Administration citing additional safety concerns with the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines based on new evidence of widespread contamination of Pfizer and Moderna with DNA fragments (citation below) and requesting evidence for safety.
